Live Sound Quality 4 Years ago
okay, i'm about half way through my first video. i imported a track of electronic music, created, and synched up graphics. as i approach my performance date, a few issues are coming up:

the sound quality is great when i play the file in flash, but when i hit "test scene", "test movie", or publish it to the web, the sound loses quality due to compression.

because i am creating this for a LIVE performance (and the web is only a secondary concern), this is a big issue. is there a way for me to project, from the program, only what is on the flash stage so i can retain sound quality but not expose the program itself? open to ideas/suggestions. thanks.

Hi there. I guess the time has come...

Well, what you want to do is go to the Publish settings. Over there is "quality control" for both your audio and visual compression quality. If you don't care about download time, you can pimp them both out as far as you are able (Flash isn't meant for "perfect" quality).

Here's a couple of screen shots. Whether it's and event or stream depends on what you choose. I think choosing "raw" is better than mp3, but I'm not really sure. I'd listen to both and see what you think...

Yes. Browsers usually allow you to hide their interface. In Firefox just push F11. You may have to create some buttons (can be invisible) if you want to have control over starting/stopping/advancing slides, etc.
