It's now been about a week and a half since the site has launched. As I expected things are starting a bit slow, but in the past few days some new people have registered. A lot of people are visiting and some have contacted me personally, but not many are taking advantage of the forums just yet. So if you need some graphics help, you've found the right spot. For the bigger problems, I'm available for private lessons but if you have a smallish question, the forums are here for you. It's free to sign up and use, and it only takes a minute.

Take advantage of the early stages because I'm not too swamped yet! Things will get busy, it's just a matter of time. Don't forget that I'm only one person, so as things pick up feel free to lend a hand. You will be very appreciated, and not just by me.

Besides questions and answers, the forum can also be used for discussions and networking. I hope we can all turn this tool into a great resource for all.

Cheers,

Jason Gallagher

I need help! I am having trouble with the root folder and image "link to site" icons in the Site Manager of Dreamweaver CS4. When I locate the the file I want to use for the root folder or image, 9 times out of 10 it will only link to drive not the folder. Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

avatar Yes, I've noticed this as well. It's kind of an annoyance, but luckily the work around isn't difficult: just type in the correct path. Have you tried to update your copy of Dreamweaver? It's been about a month since I have, but as of then it still wasn't fixed.

p.s. please open a topic in the forum if you'd like to discuss this more (or anything else). That's what this article is about ;)
